My Daily Spiritual Practice

I’m often asked about my spiritual practice, so here is what I do every day as part of my spiritual practice. What I do changes based on where I’m at in my life.

As soon as I wake up I write down my dreams. Having my dreams interpreted has been one of the biggest influences on my spiritual journey. As I mentioned in this article my dreams confirmed that I had a natural counseling ability and provided me with the courage to pursue life coaching.

After eating breakfast, which is usually a smoothie with cherries, strawberries, spinach, almond milk and protein powders I type my dreams in a google doc and interpret them. When I interpret my dreams I pull out the key symbols and also meditate on the dream and use my intuition/help from my guides to put all the parts of the dream together to determine what the dream means. (I do this when I interpret other people's dreams as well)

My dreams tell me exactly what I need to work on and I will include whatever comes up in my dreams in my nightly affirmations.

Your dreams will tell you exactly what you need to work on as well, they’re a great tool to use on your spiritual path.

I meditate throughout the day. My guides send me reminders to connect with them and meditate by prompting me to look at the number 22...this usually happens with the time but it can also be if something has 22 likes or if I have 22 emails or mile marker 22, it’s uncanny how often it happens and I never look for it or try to make it happen. They also prompt me to look at 17, this is a message for me to remind me that my spiritual path is unique and to stay committed to it.

I also do kundalini yoga during the day to balance my male and female energy. In order for our spiritual gifts to shine our male and female energy need to be in balance. I make sure I do some poses to open and balance my root and sacral chakras as well.

Throughout the day I try to be in the moment as much as possible. The book, Practicing the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is a great guide to staying in the moment.

At times I listen to binaural beats either on youtube or ones that I have ordered from Brain Sync.

I’ve also started to make time for fun, laughing with friends and family, dancing, kayaking. I’ve also started roller skating again, something I loved doing as a kid and just today I went swimming. Not lap swimming but play swimming, diving to the bottom and doing handstands type swimming. It can be easy to let life pass us by without making fun a priority.


Before going to bed I tap on the meridian points as I say my affirmations. My affirmations have changed over the course of my spiritual journey but they are anything that comes up in my dreams that I have to work on and anything else that I would like to change/work on.
